OUR TEAM

Our team of researchers combines the integrity and rigor of social science research methods with communication expertise to develop effective communication strategies for your organization.

From the mountains to the oceans, our food system connects land, water, air, and all living things. We envision a sustainable food system that honors this connection and optimizes resources for future generations.

OUR STORY

My appreciation for agriculture began early (my family grew asparagus). However, it wasn’t until my postdoctoral fellowship in science communication that I recognized the meaningful potential for cellular agriculture and other technological advancements to transform our food systems for the better. Consequently, I returned to nonprofit work and conducted research for the Good Food Institute, where I uncovered my passion for supporting and bolstering organizations working to change our food system through sustainable technologies.

Recognizing the need for strategic consumer research to provide guidance to these companies with social drive and scientific talent, I founded North Mountain Consulting Group in Spring 2020. Our team of accomplished consultants bring solution-focused communication  research to organizations that are reifying the vision of a sustainable future.

We partner with a variety of mission-aligned start-ups and nonprofits around the world. North Mountain’s expertise spans across science and health communication, environmental science, visual design, and food system sustainability. All our work is underpinned with deep expertise in research methods. Please reach out to us if you are interested in partnering!
